Accomodations
TAMARI has the innovative Gozzard "open" layout. Plenty of headroom, 6'3" at the center line. The convertible main saloon forward offers 2 single settee / berths, port and starboard, which can be swing together to form a centerline double bed. This area can be also be closed off by moving panels and door to create an enclosed area. All SS ports open and include screen inserts. Above it a beautiful teak Butterfly Hatch for maximum air flow. To port is large storage area that includes a unique swingout TV cabinet (New LED TV). Forward is a large cedar lined hanging locker full boat width. There is a centerline coffee table which converts to a full dining table with the addition of a separate table top, stored in the vast storage area behind the starboard settee.
The feeling one gets in the salon area of this vessel is one of a much larger yacht than 31 feet! Midship to starboard is a full sized pantry/storage closet. Next at to starboard is the dedicated navigation station with a huge chart table with locking hinged top, and plenty of storage for charts, a comfortable nav seat with more storage below and on the side, and a hinged instrument panel for easy access. Across from the nav station, midship portside, is the galley with lots of storage space. Aft to port is the head with vanity and sick, shower with dedicated sump and pump, Raritan Elegance Vacu Flush electric toilet (New 2019) and storage. Aft to starboard is the owner's stateroom with a roomy king size bed (new cushions 2015), hanging locker, shelf and drawer with storage under and behind the bunk. Full access to engine, transmission, and prop shaft.
The interior satin varnished mahogany with white overhead and cabin trunk panels with a solid teak and bass wood cabin sole. The overall feeling is of superb quality and tradition.
Companionway has full, built-in screen enclosure and custom made staid pads. Removable companionway stairs make easy access to engine. Twin lockable companionway doors are mahogany also include a screen door arrangement.
