Island Girl has basically only had two owners. The original owner was the owner of the Gold Coast dealership. She has been cruised extensively, including lots of trips to Catalina. The owner experienced 10' seas and she held stable and steers really well going down hill. She has accommodated up to 54 guests and has enough life vests for 36.
The boat was last hauled and bottom painted in 2014. Just installed a brand new helm seat and the majority of the electronics were updated in 2005. She has been regularly maintained by coast guard engineers. The owner has several of the original manuals and has maintained service records. In addition he has a schematic that diagrams all of the existing systems.
Accommodations
Large windows and sliding glass door aft give a wonderful feeling of light and airiness to the main living area. Easy access to the stern is through the sliding glass door and from the back deck a few easy steps take you up onto the sundeck and an enormous fly bridge.
She has a very roomy master stateroom with its own private head The guest cabin has two twin beds and a guest head fully equipped with shower and tub.The pilot house bench folds out to a double bed and the large salon has a couch that makes up into a double bed the dividers separating the salon from the galley making for a roomy private stateroom. The three separate and independent CruiseAir heating and air conditioning units make for comfortable cruising and all the comforts of home to live aboard.
