Between 1975 and 1985 Hatteras built 29 of the 42’ Long Range Cruisers. These Yachts have a full displacement hull and were designed with low fuel consumption in mind. With her 700 gal fuel capacity, this LRC has a top range of 1600 to 1800 miles at 7 knots or you can push her at 8-9 knots with a range of approx 1000 miles.
With the robust hand-laid fiberglass construction of the 1970s by Hatteras, this hull is known to be very sea-kindly underway. Spacious double-cabin floorplan includes large fore and aft staterooms, two full heads, and excellent storage.
