Com-Pac 35

As we are the Com-Pac dealers for the west coast of the USA I have had the good fortune to have sailed about all of the Hutchin's models. Well built boat they all are.
This Com-Pac 35, "Wafers Whisper" is in better condition than when we sold her as a new boat some years ago. The current (and first) owners have upgraded her significantly, new Garmin electronics, new canvas (lot's of it), completely reupholstered the entire interior, Gori folding prop and more.
When we had her in inventory I sailed her to and from San Francisco a couple of times, to and from LA and the Channel Islands. She was a lot of fun to sail. Designed by Charley Morgan the Com-Pac 35 is shoal-draft, stable, seakindly and fast. Performance is achieved by combining generous sail plan, moderate displacement, long waterline, generous beam, high ballast / displacement-ratio and the redeeming benefits of shoal-draft Scheel Keel. Beating to windward or running before the wind, full sail or reefed, the Com-Pac 35 is responsive and swift.
The Hutchins Company is a family owned-and-operated corporation founded in 1957 by W.L. Hutchins Sr. Les Hutchins, or "Hutch" to everyone who knew him, was a self-made man from a farming background who became a successful inventor and entrepreneur. Now owned and operated by brothers Gerry and Rich the company continues to hold to the original goal of satisfying its customers with a yacht of exceptional quality and value, while making a legitimate profit. Low overhead, tight quality control standards and attention to efficiency in production and administration ensure that outcome. A solid design and realistic approach to production and marketing enables Com-Pac Yachts to offer a quality boat that will hold its value for many years.
I have been made welcome in the facility in Clearwater FL and I know Rich or Gerry would be pleased to walk you through the plant and talk "boats" with you.
