Construction

  • Cold molded of 7 layers of 3/8 plywood, fiberglassed fiberglassed completely on the exterior .and fiberglassed to the waterline on the interior
  • custom built teak Pilot house  for comfortable cruising,
  • Mahogany and teak interior cabinetry and woodwork.
  • Full displacement hull and all running rigging is traditional of that period.
  • Keel laid in 1957, splashed in 2005
  • Bowssprit and masts built by Bill Clarke in San Diego
  • Stainless steel rigging and the mast are tabernacled
  • Most of the hardware is custom bronze

No engine room per se, Engine and generator located in a tranverse position on port and starboard in sound proof  insulated box in the main salon.
